How to be a MFAS Member and which membership category should I apply for?

There are different membership types of MFAS membership, they include :

Individual Membership – this is for individuals, firms, companies, corporations, partnerships predominantly or substantially engaged in the mortgage and business finance industries.

Corporate Membership – you can either join as an individual Full Member or you would like your organization to become a Full Member.

Associate Membership – for companies providing products or services to the industry i.e. Property agents, IT or Education

How do I apply for the AMC Course?

New Members – To become a new individual member of the Mortgage and Finance Association Singapore (MFAS) you must first complete our new membership application form. After approval by the membership officer, you will be emailed login details to take the official Accredited Mortgage Consultant (AMC) online course. The cost of the AMC course is SGD $1,288 which includes 12 months full membership and is purchased online via credit card or Paypal after you login.

After successfully completing the AMC course and agreeing to the Mortgage and Finance Association’s terms and conditions, you will be awarded the status of an Accredited Mortgage Consultant (AMC) and become a full member of the MFAS. Only paid up AMC’s on the Registry of AMC are allowed to use the mark of AMC and access support content on this website.

Note : Pre-requisite for signing up for the AMC Course is full O’levels, CEHA or 2 years working experience in a financial industry. Approval exceptions may be granted on case-to-case basis.

Existing Members – If you are an existing MFAS member, you can simply login to pay your annual membership renewal online. If you have not used the MFAS website before, you will first need to be registered on the website to receive a login. As part of improving services to existing members, online registration via our application form is now required to access special content and support services.

How do I know whether my membership will be accepted once I complete my application forms?

Your membership will be accepted if you are invited to attend the AMC Course and upon passing, you may use the AMC license.
